Better known as the 'wild chick' in the Jerry Riopelle band, Llory McDonald can pull all the right sounds in the universe straight from her guitar. With David Plenn, her cohort on guitar in Riopelle’s Double Shuffle Band, doing the slide guitar work this is garage rock at its finest. With a solid rhythm section keeping it tight behind the guitars and her voice, this seems to be band that is on the rise. Some of the finest dual guitar work I've heard in a long time. Give a listen to what is happening with the guitars on the traditional BABY PLEASE DON'T GO. The songs, most of which were written by her, stand up clear and strong to repeated listening. I'm looking forward to the next release from this woman.
