This disc was recorded during 2 shows at the Blue Cat Blues club in Dallas, Texas, Oct 3, 2000 (3 songs) and the remaining 13 songs (76+ minutes total) Nov. 30, 2000.  Nine of the 16 songs are previously unreleased and worth the price of the disc alone.  If you can remember this is before Willie and most of the rest of us had heard of these guys, whose incendiary music now fills arena shows as headliners.  On this disc you can hear that even back then, as young and inexperienced as they were, the power, drive and talent that make them such a draw today was very apparent.  Their roots were closer to the

surface and strong enough to support the tremendous grow spurt they have taken.  The ‘Boys’ wrote all the songs except Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride and Joy”.  The sound quality of the recording might be a bit raw but their talent and power more than make up for it.
