This is one of the most high energy bands playing today, and they both mix and fuse many different styles, and yet still you are going to walk away remembering the overall Celtic sound and how well the highland bagpipe and fiddle mesh with the guitars, keyboards, bass and drums in a driving rock and roll setting. They hail from Toronto, Canada and come out of that countries strong Scottish background. The vocals are strong and they have a way of almost forcing you to listen to what they are saying. They don’t do anything in half measures it is a full bore rock on fusion of Rock, traditional Celtic, bluegrass, folk, and political punk, though at times there seems an almost Latin flavor to it all in the rhythms. With all of these influences on the music being produced

there is a high risk of confusion and running around with no direction home; but this band takes these influences and unites them into a seamless whole, yes you can pick out the parts but the sum of the parts rules and is greater than the individual components. This is a band that gives hints in their records that their stage show is an absolute killer and has to be seen to be believed, in the meantime pick up the disc you won’t be disappointed.
