This is a disc that explores the full spectrum of the influences on that music that we call Americana in a way that is both accessible and far-reaching. This disc has strong roots in blues-gospel, roots rock n’ roll and goes down into South America for a rumba flavor (the title cut), as well as the mysticism of Japan’s music. For those that are looking for a strong comfort zone this disc is produced by the legendary Jim Dickinson, he played keyboards as well, at his Zebra Ranch Studio in North Mississippi, and is filled with the excellent taste and musicianship for which this producer of the likes of Bob Dylan and Ry Cooder is known. It shows off William Lee’s

excellence on his favored instrument the slide guitar, and the tightness of the musicians that help out on this expedition. This is an acoustic excursion of about 45 exciting minutes into the influences that make up the landscape of American music. Do yourself a favor and extend your horizons by picking up this disc.
