This funky, dirty, low-down disc was recorded at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Miss. on May 12, 2007, and is worth every penny you have to pay for it. This man started playing harp when he was 8 and since he is now 75 you can tell he has put those years to good use and made the most of his experience. He has shared stages and/or studios with jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, and Albert King just to give you an idea of his pedigree. It is the raw and funk filled dance hall music that doesn’t get recorded much anymore. the vocals and plays one of the dirtiest harmonicas to be found anywhere. The band is as tight as they come and the sound quality is everything you could ask for. He wrote 5 of the 11 songs and all the songs are in that Mississippi Delta Juke Joint mode. It is music that is designed to get everyone up and dancing so they will get thirsty and need some more refreshments. This is a rare find and worth searching for.
